The name Sun Girl comes from a Marvel Comics character. Originally a Personal Assistant, she eventually became sidekick to the Human Torch adopting her alter ego, Sun Girl – an expert in martial arts who wields a sunbeam ray gun and a lariat which she keeps in her emergency pouch. Rumour has it, she is also a master manipulator. Sun Girl swoops in to solve problems and help out when needed most. Just like all good Personal Assistants!
I am an office professional with strong administration skills, travel planning & event management expertise refined over a solid 25 year career. As an experienced PA, I have worked one on one at senior management level and also as sole support to a team of high flying professionals in corporate environments within the HR, finance, construction and education sectors. Involvement in these fast-paced environments has ensured I stay at the forefront of technology while continued professional development has allowed me to keep up to date with emerging office trends. I am a first class communicator, detail oriented and solution driven. I can deliver a quick fix or develop a sustainable workplace solution.
In addition to my corporate experience, my time as a business owner in the tourism industry has also provided me with a true understanding of the hard work and dedication required to achieve success.
I have always loved what I do but after spending my entire working life in full time, high pressure roles, it is time to jump off the treadmill and enjoy a varied pace. Time to view the ‘office’ from a different angle.
